Her excellency, Ambassador of France to Georgia Mrs. Sheraz Gasri and Attaché of University and Scientific Cooperation Mrs Alexandra Richter visited the G. Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology and Virology on July 20th, 2023.
The director of the institute, Dr. Mzia Kutateladze, together with her colleagues Lizi Zaldastanishvili, Marine Tediashvili, Nina Chanishvili, Nino Janelidze, Sopho Rigvava and Vakhtang Pavlenishvili presented information about the Eliava Institute’s and Eliava Consortium’s activities.
The participants of the meeting discussed also future plans and perspectives of Georgia – France scientific cooperation. The guests visited the institute’s training laboratories, library, museum, and the Eliava phage therapy center.
